Notes

I have decided to try and make a pair of afterthought everything socks because I don’t particularly like the feel of the yarn and I just want to use it up and get it out of my stash.

17-06-2019

Just doing the last bit of ribbing for the cuff at the other end of the sock and then its time to get inventive and split in half for each sock before adding heels and toes.

Finished knitting the complete sock (will add picture). Now need to count rows (which I should have done prior to completing bulk of the knitting) to determine the half way mark so I can add toes.

I’ve now split in half so I can add toes.

I decided it was better to add heels before adding toes, so that I could use up any extra yarn for the toes.

For the heels I ripped out 32sts.

Rounds 1-4: K round
Round 5: (K1, SSK, to last 3 sts, K2tog, K1) twice
Round 6: K round

Repeat rounds 5 & 6 until 36 sts total.

Repeat round 5 until 20 sts total.

Kitchener the last 20 sts
