Notes

Stitch is known as double rib stitch or just rib stitch on YouTube. The pattern is a double sided pattern and so perfect for a scarf. Its pretty stretchy and feels really lovely and warm.

I realised that this wasn’t working out the way I had hoped it would. I am using multiple skeins of different coloured yarn and I want the blocks of each colour to be symmetrical on each side. That said, I wasn’t actually measuring anything, just crocheting. Big mistake. So I have had to frog a lot of this scarf and get out my measuring tape so that I don’t have to frog it again.

Pattern using US terms:

Front post double crochet (FPdc)
Back post double crochet (BPdc)
Half double crochet (Hdc)
Chain (ch)

Ch desired number in multiples of two (I think I did 46) + 1
1FPdc, 1BPdc to last stitch then 1Hdc. Ch 2 and turn.
1BPdc, 1FPdc to last stitch then 1Hdc. Ch 2 and turn.

Repeat until desired length achieved. Tie off.
