I like to have more solid centers compared to the open center that was original to the pattern. Also, round 10 resulted in a wavy edge for me. I’ve made several changes to this pattern.

Round 01: 16DC
Round 02: 3TrC in every second DC
Round 03: 7DC on each ch 3 space
Round 04: Sl st to back two loops of each 4th DC
Round 05: Back Post HDC around each sl st of round 4.

Round 07: V-st between 1st & 2nd HDC after corner ch. V-st between 2nd & 3rd sc sts. V-st in space before the HDC sts. V-st in the 2nd HDC. V-st in the space after the HDC sts. Skip the 3SC sts. Mirror V-St locations of the first half.

Round 09: Accidentally (DC, ch1, DC, ch1, DC, ch1, & DC) in each corner.
Round 10: Back Loops Only, sc in each DC, skipping each ch1. Corner st ch - (sc, ch1, sc) Ended with 30 sc on each side.
Round 11: Corners - (2DC, CH2, 2 DC), (In back loop only, DC in each of next 4 st, 2DC in next st) 3 times, (In back loop only, 2DC in next st, DC in each of next 4 st) 3 times
