This hat was made with leftover yarns. The 2 colors seemed to work well together. This cute hat has a stitch design that resembled a hatband; the darker color, denim, seemed fit for this section of the hat.

I did a swatch to meet the gauge given in the Drops pattern but in the end, both sizes given, S/M and L, were a bit small for my head. So, after frogging a few times, I came up with my own size that would fit my head of 21.5” in circumference. However, I kept the length from top to the brim from the pattern about the same.

The hat turned out well, and it’s very comfortable to wear.
