Notes

This garment was done in machine knitting except for the trimmings. The trimming was done by hand crochet.

This was my first attempt following a Japanese pattern. Of course, I had to pattern it to my size. The Knit Leader enable for me to chart out the size for fitting.

Since I didn’t used the pattern’s specified yarn, I had to figured out the number of repeats for the 2 lace stitches given on the pattern. The lace patterns were completely done in hand-manipulating.

By using hand-manipulating technique rather than depending on the KH-965 electronic unit, I was able to learn how stich patterns were formed. Something that I wouldn’t have known since I’ve been unabled to hand knit.

Crochet Trimming: row 1: single crochet; row 2: crab stitch (reverse single crochet)

Since this was a Lady Petite Small size top, it wasn’t a heavy garment. So, I chose to do the shoulder seams with kitchener stitch. It’s been holding up well, no stretching.
