Started 3 times, first as a comfort fade Cardi, but then the yarn said no I want to be cloud bay.
The deep red reminds me of a red velvet cake!
11/27/18 I am thinking about incorporating ITAG Cardigan. I love the cables, they add an amazing design element. I swatched a cable today. Thinking about using the pocket and cable on this sweater.

Started the lining for the pockets according to instructions for ITAG. Picking up at the pearl bumps was not as hard as I thought. I did have to watch the video again. Suzanne is a great teacher.

The right pocket wasn’’t so bad, but the left pocket took forever. I ripped it out 7 times, I am glad I had waste yarn holding those stitches. I love Suzanne’s pocket.

I started the left sleeve 3 times, the sleeve is to big. I went up from a 4 to a 5/12” needle, besides making my hands hurt, my tension was awful. I left the last left sleeve in. I am now working on right sleeve with 4, magic loop. Tension looks much better.
Instead of decreasing every 10th row, I am decreasing every 6th row. Started with 85 stitches.

I finally finished the neckband. I did a knit 1, purl 1, then several rows of garter, ending with an I-cord bind-off. I wrestled over the color choices of the neckband, but in the end, I am very happy with this beautiful sweater.

I embellished the sweater with a tag, packed it up beautifully, and added a hand written note “HAND WASH ONLY”.
