Christmas present for Sam. She picked out the yarn and the pattern, I just knit.
I believe this is the brightest yarn I’ve ever knit with.
7/6/09: Finished. Now I can do other things without the guilt of knowing these socks are sitting around. I should have reunions more often. I get so much done.
7/5/09: Been working quite a bit on this. Got passed the heel on the 4th and spent my 3+ hours drive home working on it. I only have 23 more rounds before the toe. Hopefully I’ll get it done today or tomorrow.
7/3/09: Cast on the second sock and am currently 4 rows away from being half way done with the leg. Hopefully I’ll get these done soon so Sam can’t bug me anymore.
7/2/09: Finished the first sock and even got the ends woven in. Sam was very excited. If I had my camera cord, I could show you just how excited.
2/15/09: Restarted with just a basic sock pattern.
1/23/09: Had to rip out the socks again last night because they were still too small. I’m thinking its the needle size and not the pattern size, since the ribbing fits well. Eventually I’ll finish these…
1/22/09: Picked these back up recently. Just past the heel right now. Added recent picture with the future recipient. Cause I’m mean like that.
12/16/08: Hmm… apparently these needles are US0. I could have sworn they were 1’s!
Later: Decided that the 0s for the leg just weren’t working. Ripped back to the ribbing (which works just fine as is) and I’m working the leg in 1s.
