11/29/09: Got some of the toe done last night, but was too tired to finish it. Did so this morning. Just need to weave in the ends on the second sock and wash. I was going to keep these for me, but they’re a little tight around the ankle. They’ll probably join Signe for my mom’s Christmas present.
11/28/09: Definitely goes faster with only doing one pattern. Knit the heel and 1.5 pattern repeats yesterday. Just finishing up the second one and then I just have 2 more repeats and the toe. Might be able to finish them tomorrow. Today looks more likely actually.
11/26-27/09: Finished the leg.
11/9/09: 3 leg repeats done. 1 more to go then the heel and 4 more repeats before the toe. I can’t wait to be done. I like the yarn, I like the sock, I hate knitting the sock. Already got one done so its not worth frogging.
9/22/09: Cuff and 1 repeat of the leg done. Might be putting this one to the side for a while.
8/8/09: Sock #1 finished.
7/26/09: Finished the heel on sock #1. I love the pooling on the heel! This was my cut off point for switching projects again so time to work on Ariann for a bit more! Mental Note: Start foot on Row 2 (11pm photo shoots are fun…)
7/8/09: I originally started these in May on my vacation to Florida, but the bamboo dpns I was using weren’t pointy enough to do the cabling. So they sat around for a while and now that I’ve finished a few projects, I decided to switch them over to metal dpns and keep going.
I’m going to attempt to finish these before casting on the July sock kit.
