Shawl #4 for the wedding. I’m going to be doing some mods to this one, and I’m hoping they work because I only have 3 weeks to knit and block it. Current mods planned: Knit body in garter stitch instead of stockinette, knit a 3 stitch edge instead of 2 and knit a larger body section to make the final shawl bigger.

5/17/10: Finally done and not a moment too soon. Would have finished earlier if I didn’t slack on it at the beginning. Will block today, wrap tomorrow. On our way tomorrow night!

5/10/10: Finally got to the lace section. I knit until the body had 271 stitches and then started the lace section. I was a bit worried my math would be off but it seems to be just right.

Looks like we’re leaving around midnight the 18/19th now. Going to have to have it done by the 18th as well as be packed and ready to go. With working 55+ hours this week, possibly 25 next week, 3 extra appointments, laundry and whatever else pops up. Fun!
