This yarn worked very well for this project.

Sewing the pieces together was the annoying part of this pattern. The size of the component pieces does matter, so ignore the statement about gauge not being important.

When you seam the scarf to the cowl, place the scarf edge between the two edges of the cowl to help the cowl stand up well.

This is a very quick project. I completed it in 2-3 sittings.

The model is wearing it inside out. I think she prefers it covering her left side to free her dominant arm. This means you are seeing the herringbone stitch from the reverse in the photos with the model.

The designer was very responsive and helpful with my questions!
