My mom rides her bike to work 14 km (over eight and a half miles) every day. Now the Dutch weather isn’t always what you would call “pleasant”.
We have strong winds on a regular basis and a lot of rain, ranging from a mild drizzle to full blown tropical thunderstorms.
Although I hope she’ll trow on this cowl for some wind protection, I hope she doesn’t come across any windthrown trees on her path, and that she won’t be thrown by the wind herself.
I think it will look lovely with the coat she bought only a day after I started the project :-)
