Held yarn double (thought I’d need triple, but nope). Did not stretch this swatch while blocking, just soaked it and used blocking wires and pins to keep it tidy while it dried. I already had something very close to pattern gauge while knitting, and after blocking, it’s just right. Kind of want it slightly more open, but I think that can be done via stretching while blocking. Plus, this is pure alpaca so it will stretch on its own over time.

Not paying enough attention when starting mini garter patch, so I did the first row or so in reverse stockinette, then I was too lazy at first to use markers, so my square is not so tidy along the bottom.
