Started Galaxy of Change , it’s my 2nd one …

I have had this yarn for ages , it’s one of my favourites , Primadonna. I’ve made a couple of afghans in it.

It’s tricky to work with , because there is always a time you need to frog while doing one of Franks patterns. And it has fibres that stick together. As long as you go slow it’s fine.

I love this pattern , It’s one of the first I tried of Franks.

I did forget about the row of bptr , row 33 … It tires my hands out but very effective!

This has sat in the wip bag for a little while .. I did start it but got caught up in other projects.

So now I have powered along.

I don’t feel that this is a hard pattern .. I just enjoy it so much!

But … I am at row 91 and am shocked to find I may run out of yarn. I don’t normally run out of yarn….

I bet I have some stashed somewhere , and when I buy a new pack it will appear.

I have suddenly developed problems with my TMJ joint .. so I took some pain killers. Not heavy ..but enough for me to be stuck on row 92 for an hour.. hahaha

It’s all good … These rows can be really confusing because they alternate from back to front ..

Sounds easy yes … and it is … but sometimes you read a pattern 10 times and it doesn’t make sense.

So this is just 10 ch with sc going behind and in front of the previous rows 10 ch. When I’m done I will put up photos so it’s clear or Frank has a close up on his Galaxy.

I find a photo can be really helpful when your brain refuses to understand. If you need help ..I can post a photo if you message me :)

Wow I finished !!!

I was so close to running out of yarn … and that’s very unusual for me!

I added a photo of the edge and the criss cross ( not the best photo ) … that criss cross did my head in …. twice I made the same mistake and didn’t realise until the next row. I put 2 at the back … it’s so east to do.
Make sure you go back front back front ..be aware if you don’t .. the pattern won’t work.
So take it slow and get it all right , then you won’t be frogging like me !!
