Made the ribbing much deeper.
Added a few extra rows to the crown section by alternating knitting a round from the pattern, then knitting all the knit/ purling all the purls for a round.
Instead of gathering in the stitches at the centre of the crown to finish, I just cast off to leave a hole for my ponytail.
This hat runs small. I could have done with slightly more width but it’s nice and snug which was good on the boat where I took these pics- no chance of blowing off.
