I made this sample garment for Sarah of Crazy About Yarn from one of her new gradient colourways.

The yarn is a very spongy “sock type” merino, nylon 3ply fingering, that has a great memory - very elastic.

The hand dye colour gradients are very impressive! the colour transitions from one to the other with a lot of exciting speckling and mixing. Not a slow transition, like others I have seen.

Her ball put-ups are also very user friendly. You can buy the caked balls in different sizes, based on the amount you need: Twin sets of 2 balls, each 50g, or 67g
Single gradient balls each: 100g, 150g, 200g and 300g

This pattern is worked from the shoulders down, first the back and then the front, so it is PERFECT for a gradient yarn like this!
