Leftover yarns (worsted and sport-weight) in orange, white, yellow, gold, green, tan, dark navy blue, and teal were used to make this small baby blanket to use in a baby carriage or car seat. 18 granny squares of four rounds each were made; followed by a fifth round in white around each square. Squares were then sewn together in a rectangle 3 x 6 squares. Two strips of granny-stitched and double-crochet striped borders were done down each side to increase the width of the blanket past the central squares (see photo). A border of double crochet was done around the complete rectangle perimeter in a variety of colours to complete the blanket.
