I really like the end result; although I found the lace bands hard to keep straight. In the end I used stitch markers and had to count rows. I decided not to embroider the face on and just leave a silhouette of the bunny rabbit against the white background. The multicolored brown-tan-white self striping Sweater Weather yarn is very realistic and I felt that the embroidery would make the rabbit look more cartoony. I would definitely do this again — perhaps in other multi-coloured yarns (green, blue and pink) and possibly other animal silhouettes such as a cat including tail; or a giraffe.

I blocked only the borders to keep it from curling since I really liked the texture. Very nice and soft for a baby blanket. Nice yarn to work with.
