This chevron striped baby blanket was a relatively simple pattern, with stripes both changing colours and pattern from garter to stocking knit. It is a bit easy to ‘loose’ stitches (or gain) while doing the increases and decreases. I found that I had to count at the end of each chevron row to keep it even. The result is a great soft baby blanket. I really liked working with the 100 per cent cotton Estelle Breeze yarn. In the second blanket, stripes were made from the following colours: silver (grey), powder (light baby blue), violet , and sand (golden tan).
