Notes

I used leftover Breeze 80 per cent cotton 20 per cent poly blend to make a cropped cardie shrug for a child. The pattern called for a picot edge, which I found very difficult to make a keep the correct number of stitches. So as an alternative I made 1x1 ribbing for the edges. This also matched the right and left front bands. The body was made in the yellow breeze yarn; with the trims done in the ecru Lanette super wash yarn. Because of the boucle texture of the Breeze yarn, I substituted a button and loop for the top closure for ease . I made this for a girl so the button is a sunflower; for a boy you could use a duck or a Mr. Sun button. It has cap sleeves.
