Small amounts of mercerized crochet cotton yarn, Circulo Amigurumi, were used following the sweet softies design pattern, found on www.sweetsofties.com. I found the pattern easy to follow. The first chick was made into key rings or amigurumies to attach to back packs, purses, luggage, etc. Baby toys were made by adding a gingham ribbon instead of the metal rings and hooks.
