Directions in my Grannies Favourite Dishcloth posting. I decreased the needle size to a 3.75 mm from the original 4.5 mm because I prefer a closer weave. I really like using Sudz Crafting Cotton for the washcloths. It is softer and somewhat more tightly spun than some of the other brands. It gives a nice crisp weave that is not scratchy. They are also a lower weight yarn —between a worsted and a dk. On the pattern I kept increases up to a 46 count when you do the “turn on the corner” followed by one more inc to 47 before starting decreases. I also decreased to 3 stitches, then k 2 together on last 2 rows and then pull through the end to finish off and work in ends.
The Estelle Sudz skeins are slightly more expensive than some of the others, but the end result is far more superior. For any gifts for friends or family would definitely use Sudz.
