Oh I wish I had noted my colours. Have an order for another and two matching throws!
Lets hope I can get it right.
16th Jan 2016 - I think the colours must have been:
Lemon sunshine and spice
Fondant pomegranate lipstick
Wisteria lavender violet
Sherbet cloud blue royal
I think the best thing to do would be make a circle of each and send them to her to see if they match exactly.
I asked the ladies on the CCC facebook group and they think I am right in my guesses. Phew.
Made the matching throw but have made its own project page. Flower Burst Throw
April 2016 - I really should have made proper notes on this at the time, I have been asked to make another and now I can’t remember how I joined them, so , THIS time- for the white round I did 3 (us) dc 3 ch 3 dc in corners and 3 hdc in spaces. To join I joined in back loop in (us) sc . Rows across top first (the bottom being the opening) then upwards.
When I do the final edging I must remember to make buttonholes - need to see if I made a written note of that. Pretty sure I used Bunny Mummys Version
The buttonholes are simply made by skipping 2 stitches in the last row and chaining 2 before D.C. (UK) S.C. (US) in the third stitch of previous row
The back was corner to corner stripes. With a corner to corner border first http://thecrochetcrowd.com/corner-corner/
Interesting that I think in US terms now because so many patterns are in US terms.
Finished the second one 14th April 2016. Used all kitty buttons this time as I didn’t have anymore hearts. I suspect that the recipient will prefer it that way anyway even if it means they don’t exactly match. She calls the first one the kitty cushion.
