I love the aesthetic of this hat’s body, but substituted a different crown. Used light worsted-weight yarn.

Casted on 112 sts with US 5 needles and German Twisted CO. Switched to US 6 needles after brim completion. Began crown decreases (using decrease instructions from Two by Two; moved BOR 1 st to right) when work reached 6.5” from CO edge. The hat fits like an adult small. (I was hoping for an adult M. That’s what I get for not swatching and consulting project notes for previous hats using 2x2 ribbing and light worsted weight yarn.)

Post-blocking gauge is 26 sts/4” in 2x2 one inch above CO edge. Hat fits like an adult s/m.
