There is not much wiggle room in the yarn requirement for the large size. I was nervous that my mod (adding 2 chart repeats/8 rounds/2g to each leg) to the large size might exceeded the yarn requirement listed on pattern for all sizes (300-400 yards). When I was 3” away from the toe decreases on my first sock, the remaining yarn weighed 60g. I played it safe by adding a contrast color for the toes.

I have a high instep and was surprised that the pattern instructions resulted in a heel flap that was 2.75”, my preferred heel flap height (which I usually have to add rows to obtain).

Measurements (unblocked)
Leg = 6” from cuff edge to beginning of heel flap; contained 16 chart repeats.
Heel flap = 2.75”
Foot = 8” from bottom of heel flap to beginning of toe decreases; contained 19 chart repeats.

yarn usage
MC: beginning wt=96g (420 yards); after sock 1=53.7g; after sock 2=12g
CC: beginning weight=13.2g; after sock 1=9.5g; after sock 2=8g
