Progress Notes

  • When I saw the CO number and recommended needle sizes, I decided to add an extra repeat. I tried the hat on after ribbing was complete and liked the fit.
  • Used US 5 needles for alternating CO, US6 needles for combination ribbing, US7 needles for remainder.
  • I appreciated the helpful tips given in the pattern’s link to a YouTube leaf pattern tutorial. slightly_smiling_face
  • Hat looked like it was running a little tall, so I omitted rest rounds 34, 36, 38, and 40. This made the crown ruffle a bit, but the fit is great.
