My first Musselburgh. Though I have made several similar, double-layer hats prior to this one, the Musselburgh pattern is excellent. It contained several data tables so one can easily make the perfect size using various yarn weights.

I worked increases until I reached 120 sts. Hat was initially slightly short. I started decreases thinking I had reached 19” (recommended length for an adult medium hat), when I had only reached 18”. Stretching the hat lengthwise while it was wet solved the problem.
