Love the overall construction of the Driftwood, and the stitch texture & collar of the Fall Football, so, here I am “Kit-Bashing” them together!

Also, I saw a note on another pattern that said it started at the top of the fold-down collar, and worked everything down from that, so I’m giving that a shot with this.

Should be interesting.

Used 3.5mm needles for the collar, and 3.5mm hook for the crochet cast-on.

Knit and frogged the back-of-neck shaping several times, trying to get the grid-stitch pattern to work; not only with the shaping, but to match up with the front.
Just wasn’t going to happen.
So fuck it, the first 6 rows will be stockinette, and hidden by the collar when finished!
I’ll start the grid pattern on row 7. (Wanders off muttering imprecations…)
