Been wanting to make these for a while. Finally got some 100% wool to work with in the colours I wanted.

Managed to get 7 hot pads out of these by playing - and winning - yarn chicken in the end.

I’ve started a second set of these on 15 December, 2018
With the new batch, some will be like the tri-colours here, some will be tri-colours, but with black instead of white, some will include all 4 colours. I’m having way too much fun with this pattern!

Side note: Instead of doing a chain 6 between the 4 TrCr in the centres, I’ve only done a Chain 5, because it seems to work better with this wool.
