The original one I made barely contained the yoga mat. It was a very tight fit.
So, I’ve frogged it all the way back, and this is my 2nd attempt, with some adjustments to the same basic idea, and using the same cotton frogged from the first attempt.

Crocheted Bottom:
Yes, I am counting the Ch1 on each round as one of the stitches. If you don’t want to do that, just add another HDC into the first stitch on each round. Have fun!

SC into a Magic Circle, Ch2, 7 HDC into magic circle. Slip stitch into 1st st/ch2. (8 st total)

Looks like it’s big enough this time, so now to start the knitting phase.
Slip-Stitch-Ch1 into each stitch, but put each Ch 1 loop onto the 5mm circular knitting needle.
Place an end-of-round/beginning-of-round marker as desired.
Purl the initial round, then on to the basic fishnet stitch:

R2: P
R3: K2Tog, YO
