I LOVE this pattern and the designer is so sweet and helped me through any issues I had. The pattern was already perfect as is but I wanted to make one little modification. This mod was completely inspired by my favorite pair of baby overalls seen in the last photo (made by Fin & Vince). Instead of doing two buttons on the back for the straps, I did one button in the center. I also lengthened the straps a bit to add 2 extra buttonholes (for longer use) as well as so the straps can hang down and look cute. I didn’t do the garter rows on the straps either and just cabled the whole thing while incorporating the button holes into the cabled pattern.
