Notes

I made this dishcloth for my sister. I didn’t know how to crochet using thread so instead I used a worsted weight cotton and an appropriately sized hook. So, the finished dishcloth was much larger (~4 square inches) but it turned out great and she loved it.

The one thing that I didn’t enjoy about the pattern was the border. The instructions say to work 49 sc stitches “evenly spaced across end of rows”. I don’t think I did it wrong but I had more stitches along the side of the piece and had to finagle it to make sure I skipped stitches evenly.

FYI, this was only my second “real” crochet project but I think it turned out great.

NOTE: The last 2 pictures are of both the brown and antique teal Classic Clusters dishcloths. I made them both for my sister.
