I did 6 rows of garter-stitch on the top and bottom edge (instead of 4) because of my tight gauge. I also did not do the last repeat because my dishcloth wouldn’t have been square.

I like how the dishcloth turned out, for the most part. The one thing that bothers me is the tiny spaces that formed beneath the diagonal reverse stockinette stitches on the front. I don’t know if it was my tension, but the knit stitches directly underneath look tight. I lightly blocked the dishcloth and it helped a little bit, but some of the “holes” are still there. I’m just going to have to live with it.

It’s a really nice dishcloth otherwise. And it’s so soft. I’m going to use it as a washcloth for the bathroom.
