I made this rose for my boyfriend (noticing a theme, :P) for our first anniversary. He was very impressed. :)

I love the pattern, though making the petals look right took some time. I used hot glue to attach the sepals and stem. I don’t think I could’ve sewed them on without it looking horrible.

The one thing I don’t like it that the rose it too top heavy to put in a vase. The pipe-cleaner stem is so flimsy so we just rest it on a table. If I make more, I’ll use a sturdier wire or something for the stem, but since I glued the first one together, I can never fix it. :(
