After I made a dishcloth out of this yarn (I Love This Cotton in Woods Print), I decided that I wanted to make her a matching towel. I created the design which took some calculations to make sure that it came out the right size (standard size dish towel) but I think it came out okay. I also made a stockinette stitch stripe on each end of the towel to make it a little prettier.

My mom loves the towel, but it took forever to make (I also put it down for a while) because the pattern itself was boring. I’m not sure I would do this again. If I make another knit or crochet towel, I’ll use thicker yarn or use a more interesting pattern to make it go faster.
