this flag was used in germany in WW1 it was the original german flag. i loved the design of it so well i decided to try to knit it into an afghan. what can i say i’m such a history nerd XD

update 10/29/10

so i finished it but i decided to bring it along with me for a local cosplay i was cosplaying germany from the anime axis powers hetalia the guy next to me is a friend of mine who decided to cosplay america.
