J’ai eu quelques problèmes dans la compréhension des instructions en anglais et en français en ce qui concerne les augmentations et les diminutions.
Après l’aide de trois personnes (une qui a la trad française, une qui a déjà tricoté ce pull et la créatrice elle-même)… je crois avoir compris l’idée générale.

Si vous tricotez avec les instructions en français, attention car je crois qu’il y a des erreurs :

• entre c et d il faut faire 4 fois la série d’augmentations et non pas deux fois
• et entre d et e il faut remplacer les dim par des augm (donc deux augm par série et non pas une augm et une dim).

22 oct 2011 : j’ai vraiment des doutes sur la capacité de mon ventre et de mes fesses à rentrer dans ce pull. Donc pour le devant, j’ai fait une bande de 10 mailles de chaque côté, et je vais la réduire entre le haut du ventre et les emmanchures (voir photo 8).

23 déc 2011 : Baisse de moral après avoir cousu le 1er côté : ça ne ressemble à rien ! Mais je refais la 1ère manche bien trop longue, et je fais bien de m’acharner car le résultat final, une fois sur moi, me convient bien.

La laine est assez chaude, et légèrement gratouillante. Peut se porter à même la peau.

I had a lot of troubles with the instructions in English and French for increases and decreases.
I’ve been helped by 3 persons (one had the instructions in French, one had already knitted the sweater, and the other was the designer herself) and now I think I’ve got the clue.

If you want to follow the French instructions, be careful because I think there are some mistakes (see my notes in French).
If you have troubles with the English ones, there are no mistakes, but they are not clear. Just tell me and I could help.

Oct 22, 2011 : I had a few doubts about the ability of my belly and my bottom to fit in this sweater. So I decided to knit 10 stitches at both sides of the front, and to make decreases between the top of the belly and the beginning of the sleeves (see the result on photo #8).

Dec 23, 2011 : Looking at the result after sewing the first side horrified me ! Just hugh! I frogged the 1st sleeve and went on and finished the sweater without any pleasure… But when I finally put it on it was magic! I really love it now!

The yarn is nice. Really warm but so light. Hitches just a little but one can wear is with nothing under.
