Pull kimono, ou quand Gabuzo invente (encore une fois) le fil à couper le beurre.

Comme j’ai déjà fait ce pull, j’ai décidé de changer un peu la méthode. Je vais le faire en une seule pièce : tricoter les manches en rond, puis faire les augmentations avec un montage provisoire, et relier le tout au grafting.

Au final on voit très peu les limitations de côté et les finitions de sont limitées à rentrer le fil du début, celui de fin, et à rétrécir les deux trous formés de part et d’autre du col.

Pour conclure, je crois que je préfère cette version à celle que j’avais faite pour moi il y a quelques années, avec le fil Quiétude de Phildar (dernières photos).
La laine que j’ai utilisée cette fois n’est pas si rêche que je le pensais. En fait elle va très bien pour ce pull.

Granted that I’ve already done this sweater, I decided to change the method. I will do it in just one piece : knitting the sleeves in a round, then doing the increases with a provisional cast on method, then to join both sides with grafting.

Finaly the edges are hardly recognizable, and the separation between the front end the back can hardly be seen, and as far as finiting is concerned, I just had to wave in the begining and the stop yarn, and to redo the two visible drops besides the cowl.

As a conclusion, I think I prefer this version than the one I made for myself some years ago with the yarn Quiétude of Phildar (see last photos).
The yarn I used this time is not as hitchy as I was afraid it could be. Actually, it is perfect for this sweater.
