Notes

Held the yarn double.

I don’t especially like the lifted increases at the raglan suggested by the pattern. Going with the good old kfb instead.

Inserted blocking wires through the bottom of the bodice to try to block them into submission. We’ll see how it went.

This sweater proved to me, beyond any doubt, that blocking your swatch is absolutely essential. The swatch before blocking was full of holes and huge compared to the washed one, which shrinked a lot. Throughout the knitting process the sweater was huge on me, but I had faith in the swatch! After washing, the sweater’s measurements are perfect.

Blocked gauge: 24 sts/4” on 4mm needles.
