Notes

February 2011: Stash busting project for me. I love the soft drape of this yarn and I am hoping it will do justice to the pattern (and vice versa). I love the detail on the sleeves and the minimal shaping. Looks comfy and modern.
I have named this after the feisty, fairy guide that joins Link on his adventures.

September 2011: This sweater has been through a lot with me. Unfortunately, it has not all been great. None the less, the sweater is finished. Washed, blocked and ready to wear.

I have to say, this was the very first sweater I made for myself. Truefax! I have been knitting for almost 20 years, and this is the first garment intended for me. Shocking, but true!

I love, love, LOVE this pattern and recommend it for everyone. If you are a novice, it is perfect. If you are a seasoned knitter and just want a basic “sit and watch the ballgame” sweater, it is perfect. I followed the sleeve pattern to a ‘T’, but you could put the holes anywhere, really. I tend to follow a pattern as written, but I acknowledge there are much more creative knitters out there than me.

ETA: Can I just say that the color of this yarn is different in every picture. Cripes! The color most similar to the yarn is the lower most pic. It is a musky brown, warm but not reddish. Got it? Good!
