March 9: off the loom, washed and fulled.

This fabric is sumptuous! I think it’s the most beautiful piece of weaving I’ve done so far, it simply glows.

March 10: The camisole is sewn, I just need to sew some buttons and loops down the back and she’s done.
I hand dyed some habotai silk for the lining so all the seams are hidden. Hand woven 100% silk fabric frays like crazy so all the edges were overlocked even though they were going be covered by the lining.

This Posh Little Cami won me the ‘Sentosa Silk Award 2019’ for ‘the most outstanding silk rich garment’ in the Creative Fibre National Fashion Parade.
