Gradient Design Challenge 2018 in Gorgeous Gradient Group, 15 Jan to 28 Feb 2018. Gradient, leaves and colourwork - not sure about the colourwork part yet.

Start at neck edge.
Provisional cast on (to keep my options open) with 2.75mm needle, worked 3 rows and changed to 3mm, worked for about 2.5cm then changed to 3.25mm

The rapid needle changes help give the first flare out to the round yoke

The blue ends of the smaller balls are darker than the large ball, I’m using the small balls for 2 rows out of every 12 to try and work it that the gradients are at similar places when the division for the sleeves happen, this is giving a bit of a striped effect which is much more pronounced in the photos than in real life.

After 36 rows (in all) the colour of the main ball is starting to change to a purpley-red, need to think about what to do …
