I purposely sized up from a 3 to a 4 and also knit the body about 4” longer due to being pregnant and wanting something cozy to fit over my growing bump this winter. I also expect this to grow more after blocking based on my experience with this yarn- this is a desirable outcome for me. If you choose this yarn and want a cropped look just be aware that it tends to grow quite a bit in length and since it’s primarily alpaca it doesn’t ‘bounce back’ like wool does.
