Love this design. Hoping for the best, but will knit sleeves flat to avoid the fiddlyness (when joining yoke/sleeves) some have been complaining about.

29/4: Finished! Here’s what I did and why:

1. Picked a single skein in my stash that I feared wouldn’t be enough for this sweater. And the next supplier is in Germany. Still decided to use it, because the yarn is sooooo lovely. I didn’t really got gauge either, about 5.5 sts/4”. I knitted as written until the body was finished, then I…

2. Cast on 46 sts for each sleeve using scrap yarn. Worked 5 rows of stockinette with working yarn and then joined as written in the pattern for the yoke.

3. Omitted the last decrease row for the neck and bound off after 8 rows garter sts and with 59 sts.

4. Realised that I didn’t have enough yarn for the sleeves (almost expected) and finished the short sleeves with 3 rows of garter sts and bound off on the 4th row - a wrong side row.

Pattern is, despite some critique, quite easy to follow. You need to keep track on what you’re doing though and why - and I did have to go back at one time because I forgot to go on to row 3 of pattern #2 :)))
I will definately knit this again!
