Notes

19 June 2025: I alternated between k and p st to give some textural interest. When blocked, though, the p sections have more ease than the k sections and pouf slightly. Will work all k for next ones.

30 June 2025: Sizing these on the needle is hard. I have settled on 26 yos then garter edging for 3 ridges, maintaining yos. BO on k row after 3rd p ridge.

Wet spray blocked to 10” sq then killed with steam iron.

26 Oct 2025: I am calling this done even though there are still 6.5 skeins of yarn to knit up. The knitting of the squares is fun and fast but blocking then killing them with a steam iron is tedious. The experiment was a success because I wanted to find out if swirly squares would work for blanket blocks and they do.

Total of 7 squares.
