Am very happy with this hat. Pattern a little hard to follow, as there are changes once you knit in round. No real help with decreases, but I found a site with calculator. I continued decreasing at crown instead of pulling through 20 stitches. The waffle stitch could easily be changed for another stitch over 4 stitches. Next time i wont bother with buttons and button flap. Repeat, am happy and it looks great.
