I love this pattern as it’s easy to remember and not boring to knit. The result is a sturdy cloth that has lots of body and looks good on both sides. I used a nice thick cotton yarn as it is more fun to knit and I prefer the result. I also use 40cm circular bamboo needles because i knit on the bus and it means stitches don’t fall off, these are also ‘square’ (I forget the correct term).
