Am hoping these will work miracles. Because if you need to wear fingerless mitts, they have to be super warm. This is a great design because you can cover all fingers when you need to, and the cuff means double thickness. Obviously they are not for sub zero outdoor wear, but they should do the trick where I work: cold indoors and we have to go out and bring in two snowy, freezing metal signs!
They seem to knit up small, but they are really nice and snug, which is what you need.
I bought alpakka because it is warmer than Wool. I think this design is smart looking, and suits a mature woman much more than flip top mittens.
