I purchased this yarn several years ago to make my first pair of socks. I have not made any socks ever in my life despite knitting most of my life. I have many books for sock knitting but always seemed to procrastinate when I thought I had finally found the perfect pattern. I purchased Sara’s HumbleBee sock pattern and was looking for a yarn that would be about the color of the ones on the front of the pattern but my budget hasn’t allowed me to purchase the yarn from an indie and so I decided since I had purchased this yarn to make my first pair of socks that I would give it a go with my Lion Brand Sock-Ease Cotton Candy.

Update: 4-16-19 I’m knitting with five DPNs and misplaced the working DPN soon after I started the socks. I found the DPN a couple days ago and last night I picked up the sock again for about an hour. I think it’s all about enjoying the journey and don’t keep track of actual time spent on projects that I’m making for myself or a gift. At this rate I might have them done by Christmas - LOL.

Update: 10-30-19
I put this project on hold last Spring but now that Fall is here I’m wanting to work on the socks. I stopped because the pattern is done using circular needles and I use DPN needles. This is my first pair of socks ever and I got stuck because not sure how to translate pattern from circular to DPN. I am going to try again but may have to ask for help.

I have not done anymore on this project, I should not have bought a pattern like this for my first pair of of socks. I use DPNs to knit circular items, not circular needle and I am totally lost as how to translate this pattern into dpn instead of circular.
