Experimenting with HDC worked into different loops. Same yarn, hook, and starting chain (85) but first is worked into 3rd loop (14th row only SC) and 2nd will be BLO (as patterned)

First, didn’t take much more than an hour to work up. Used 46.76 grams.

Second, took about the same time wise, and similar yarn consumption, 47.10 grams, but much wider (4.5 inches like pattern states) due to the different angle of the stitch.
