05.16.201 I found two more skeins in my stash in dyelot 901--YIPPY. There are 18 leaves on each side of the border??? It will be a square rather than rectangular blanket???? Not sure how that happened…but I wasn’t about to change now. ALL DONE!

05.15.2010 Third corner of border completed and onto the 4th…sadly, I will run out of yarn before finishing. Because of season change, local shops don’t stock this anymore. Hopefully I have more in my stash…I hate to have to order it online just for very little required to complete the blanket. The border always takes forever to knit up…but well worth it though. It really gives it the finishing touch and tying all the different motifs together.

05.14.2010 Not much of knitting time all through the weekend as I am volunteering for a few labor-intensive events in our community. The tulip border is up but in a slow pace…1 of the short sides is completed and had to tweak two additional stitches in the last leaf before turning corner to fit. Unless shown, I can’t imagine anyone can spot it.
05.13.2010 The body is completely done…just need to knit-on edging to cover 253-row in length, not counting the width!!! 3rd dyelot 901 seems to blend too… thank goodness.
05.12.2010 Decrease 1 stitch at next stockinette row back to 135 stitches and set up 4-leaf panels as before.
05.11.2010 All 130 rows of center panel completed.
05.10.2010 Glad to pick up after two-day break. Two-third way through Center Motif and is slowing forming shapes. I ran out of 1st ball of yarn somewhere in the center panel. Problem with spliced joint…it’s so perfect that you can’t spot it even if you tried. So…2nd ball in dyelot 501 added probably half way of the blanket--luckily it blended with dyelot 502

05.07.2010 My friend got a call this afternoon that Sarah is in labor. She flew out this evening so I now have all the time in the world to finish it (well…at least for two weeks :D) 2nd motif is in. I had to work out some numbers intensely to fit the grand center motif to come.
